Check the calendar
Confirm the date, arrival time, and event details. Your car’s ready. Let’s make sure the track is, too.
Find your class
Read the class requirements and ask before buying parts. Confidence weighs nothing at technical inspection.
Pack the actual essentials
Bring your car, radio, charged batteries, suitable charger, and basic tools. A few spare body clips never hurt anybody’s odds.
Arrive early and ask
Check in with the race director, ask about the format, and learn the track procedures. “I followed that guy” is not a drivers’ briefing.
Listen, learn, have fun
Follow the race director’s instructions, marshal when assigned, and give fellow racers room. Save the fierce rivalry for the stopwatch.
